Recently we have seen a few instances of customers having trouble accessing emails following registration to Office 365.
MMS set up your work email account to point at a secure server and sync your emails to your devices.
However, if you use your work email address to register with Office 365 you essentially redirect the email account to a different server which bypasses the email configuration which has been set up for you.
What does this mean?
- Remote workers will not be able to access historic emails or sync your emails as the account will not be pointing at the correct server.
- Restricts MMS access rendering us unable to fix any email issues quickly.
What should I do?
